Prior to founding Bid Perfect, Marcus was Commercial Director for Office Depot in the UK and Ireland. This, along with his previous positions at companies such as Corporate Express (Director of Global Bids) and Xerox (Sales Director - Local Government) allowed him to develop his outstanding, competitive bid writing skills and win many large national and international contracts.

Marcus is a highly regarded and sought after speaker on the subject of bids and tenders and he has delivered our training courses throughout the UK and Europe. He is also the author of the book 'Charlie Watts and the Rip in Time' - a successful book for young adults - and lives in the north of England where he enjoys golf, chess, and amateur archaeology.

   Isabel Moritz, Co-Director

Specialist Bid Consultant

Isabel's background in sales is complemented by fifteen years running the marketing department for an American biotech company where she was involved in submitting highly technical bids for research installations.

Her independent bid consultancy led to further corporate and commercial tendering experience before merging with Bid Perfect. Isabel is a member of the steering committee for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals in the UK.

   Neal Basson, Sales Director 

Specialist Bid Consultant

Neal looks after some of our larger clients and is a first class sales and bids consultant. His background is in high end capital equipment, IT hardware and software as well as office supplies. 

He has been writing, managing and directing winning bid submissions in the UK and across Europe for more than a decade and can demonstrate some spectacular wins in the blue-chip and major corporate sectors. However, that does not mean that Neal cannot demonstrate empathy with smaller and medium sized companies. Neal's knowledge of the mechanics of sales techniques, coupled with his unerring eye for a winning bid makes him a valuable member of the Bid Perfect team.

   Dewi Hughes, Consultant

Dewi is a skilled writer, communicator, manager and CIPD qualified trainer with over 21 years experience working in a range of public sector roles including over ten years appraising bids for various DTI funding schemes, four years writing and organising events for over 50 different Government ministers and four years managing various European programmes. 

Dewi has an extensive knowledge of government funding for business and of the public sector procurement process and is a highly valuable member of the Bid Perfect team.

Gary is a proven professional at all levels of sales and business/ performance management. His 20-year career includes extensive experience in sales management and leadership roles in both direct and indirect B2B environments in a variety of product sectors from commodity to 'big ticket' capital goods.

A committed 'people person' with a genuine passion for sales and business development, Gary has enjoyed working with, and building, successful teams and businesses in SME/local, corporate, national and international business arenas. Although a proven specialist in sales and marketing, Gary has over 15 years' experience in managing all aspects of performance-reliant functions.


   Michelle Naphtali, Associate Director

Personnel, Management and Leadership Development

Michelle specialises in leadership and management skills at all levels utilising her experience as a board Director of national, pan-European and global businesses. Michelle is a great believer in using coaching to enable candidates to find their own answers by learning to apply 'real life' work practices.

Michelle has 15 years management experience heading teams of ten to 300+ personnel, from regional to international arenas. Specialist areas include Change Management, Evaluation, Performance Management, Leadership Development and Business Coaching. 

Qualified to level B in occupational testing, Michelle is able to combine her experience of managing people and performance with BPS-approved and accredited assessment processes.

Her business, training and coaching experience enables Michelle to design and deliver a wide range of unique and dynamic programmes from Graduate to Board Level Teams.
